I want to first start off by thanking my SWEET friends & family for being so supportive after finding out about my blog! Lol I didn’t know how low key I was going to keep this, but the secret is out and we are doing this thang. I love you all! Thank you x a million!!!
My big 25 birthday was last Wednesday and Rob went above and beyond to make sure I had the best birthday yet. It was different being away from loved ones, but I really couldn’t have asked for more. I am so lucky to be living this new adventure filled life! We pretty much celebrated from Wednesday until Sunday. Thankful my boyf knows bdays are meant to be a weeklong thing.
On Friday went were off to spend the day in Cologne, Germany and visit all the different Christkindlmarkets. We took a 20 minute tram ride from Düsseldorf to the Köln Hbf (Cologne Central Station). I might add that the train is so freaking cute, clean and comfy! I was not expecting that at all. That was definitely the first of many tram rides for us! As soon as we stepped out of the station, we were mesmerized by the beautiful Cologne Cathedral.
The next Christmas Market we visited the Angel’s Market. I got the least amount of photos at this market but believe me when I say it was GOREGOUS! It was like walking around in a fairytale. There were people dressed up as angels in white and walking around covered in sparkling glitter. There were big stars hanging above you as you walk around. The food was just as amazing here as well.
After our trip to Cologne, it is safe to say we ate and drank our weight at the Christmas Markets! We will absolutely be making another trip back before the Christmas season is over. I highly, highly recommend planning a trip to Europe in the winter time just to experience the Christkindlmarkets here, it is such a festive time.
Cheers!

Your so cute! Thanks for Sharing! Cologne looks beautiful. It doesn't look like it was too cold since you weren't wearing a coat. BTW I love your cheetah scarf with the red sweater... VERY CLASSY!!
ReplyDeleteThank you!! Lol! You're right, it was about 50 degrees out but it does get a little chillier as the sun goes down.
DeleteHappy birthday 'lil mama!! How special you are to celebrate your birthday in Europe! Looks like you did it up!) I couldn't be happier for you and Rob. Can't wait to see whats next! Have fun and be safe.

Thank you Britt!!! That is exactly what I wanted, to be able to share this to all my loved ones back home!! Miss you and hope you're doing awesome!
Deletet's so fun to "hear" about your adventures. When you come back you'll say "it was a blast" but you don't share all the details. Now, I can "hear" all the details as they are happening! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteRight?! I knew I wouldn't be able to remember every single detail when I look back, so I thought this would help me out!
