My December Lifestyle Favorites

I hope you all had the BEST Christmas! My Christmas was definitely a little bit quieter this year, but still very enjoyable and relaxing. On Christmas Eve Rob and I went to another Christmas Market, of course. You could probably say we are obsessed. We went to the Königsallee Christmas Market which is just a 5-10 minute tram ride from our flat. We had so much fun eating lots of French fries, bratwursts, drinking alt beer, and ice skating! The both of us struggle on the ice but we sure do have fun trying. Our Christmas Day was spent in PJ’s, enjoying cheese & crackers, and watching all the Christmas movies Netflix has to offer. I was also able to FaceTime my family for a good hour Christmas morning while they opened presents. It felt as if I was there with them!

Since there are only four days left in December I thought I’d wrap up my last blog post in 2018 with a “December Favorites” post! I have always loved watching YouTubers do their monthly favorites videos so I thought why not incorporate that into my blog?! Let me know if this is something you guys enjoy reading and what some of your current favorite products are! 

1. 1. H&M Ankle Booties: I recently purchased these and I pretty much wear them every other day. I do A LOT of walking these days, and they’re pretty comfortable. I like how they can spice up a casual leggings and sweater outfit, and also go perfect with a cute skirt and top outfit. 
2. 2. Express Leather Leggings: My go to leggings! I can’t say enough good things about these leggings. I believe I have them in three pairs right now. They’re so comfortable and still make a statement. Europeans are stylish you guys! I definitely have to put in extra effort in my day-to-day outfit! I believe these are 50% off are right now, so get them while they're on sale. I recommend sizing down because they do run a little big. 
3. 3. Wine: I love the vino! For the month of December, you could find me with a glass of Pinot Grigio or Cabernet Sauvignon. Unfortunately, the wine I drink is labeled in German and I am not sure that you can find them back in the States but I pretty much always buy my wine from Aldi. My two recent favorites are Golden Kaan Cabernet Sauvignon 2016 and Giretto Pinot Grigio 2016. 
4. 4. Workout Bands: I have been loving these workout bands that I purchased from Amazon. They are perfect for at home workouts and to take to the gym to step up your booty workout game! I haven’t found too much purpose for the yellow and red color bands, but the three heavier bands are perfect for me. For only $11 – they’re such a steal. 
5. 5. Bath and Body Works Candles: Honestly, B&BW candles will probably make it on every favorites list I ever have. If you know me, you know I am a candle addict. I don’t even consider purchasing candles from anywhere else. I stocked up on so many and had them shipped over with our furniture lol (I haven’t found a Bath and Body Works in Germany yet). My current favorite scents are Fresh Balsam, Vanilla Bean Noel, Frosted Cranberry, and Blue Winter Sky. Rob has asked me to mention that his personal fave B&BW scent is Mahogany Teakwood! 
6. 6. Amazon Echo (Alexa): I have had Alexa for about a year or so now. I have always enjoyed being able to know the weather and time without having to put in any effort. The reasons I have specifically been using her non-stop this month is because, #1 Germany uses a completely different measurement system (Metric). Therefore, I should not have brought over my US measuring cups, but I did. Alexa makes my life a whole lot easier by doing the conversions from grams, liters, or ml to cups and ounces for me! Reason #2 is Alexa FINALLY plays Apple Music. Hallelujah! 
7. 7. Flowerbomb Perfume: If you have not smelled this perfume, go to your nearest department store or Sephora and try it! I am obsessed! It’s such a nice feminine, warm, light-flowery scent.
8. 8. Spray tan: I can get PASTEY and it drives me crazy, so therefore my go to self-tanner is either this one from Ulta in the shade “Dark” or if you’re new to spray tanning and want to try something that is only $12, quick, and won’t last too long on your skin try this one. For this self-tanner I use the "Dark" shade. 
9. 9. Clinique Moisture Surge: I use this lotion every single day. I have such dry skin, especially in the cold winter months. It is a bit of a splurge but a small bit goes a long way. I previously used the Clinique Moisturizing Lotion. This yellow lotion with a pump applicator was fine but I would use it up so quickly. The Moisture Surge lasts me so much longer so I find it's worth the price!
