My August Lifestyle Favorites

And just like that, another summer month gone. Although a tiny part of me wishes summer never came to an end, a bigger part of me is way too excited for fall. I love all things fall, who else is with me? I can't wait to share fall related content with you all, OOTD's, home inspo, favorites, etc. It's going to be a good one- I can just feel it. Before I get too ahead of myself, let's chat about some of the things I used and loved all August long.

1. Headspace- For those of you who may not know what headspace is, it's a meditation app. At first I felt really weird and shy about trying it and almost like I didn't want to tell people I was meditating. I don't know why- it's been really good for me. I know I have touched on having anxiety before but Headspace has definitely helped me battle anxiousness. I am a beginner and my thoughts definitely still wander while meditating, but I'm hopeful for the future of my mind lol! If you find yourself a little bit curious definitely give it a shot. TIP: I would set a goal of one meditation a day for a week straight. I say a week because it's easy to do it once and feel like it's not doing anything (I felt the same) but I promise, eventually you'll begin to feel it working.

2. Off The Vine Podcast- If you like Bachelor, Bachelorette or BIP give this Podcast a listen. I typically listen to motivational podcasts for tips and insight on how to better myself as a woman in life and in business, but Off The Vine is my reality TV in podcast form. Kaitlyn Bristowe (a former bachelorette) is the host and interviews guest while drinking wine. I like listening because she recaps the bachelor episodes which I enjoy because I don't get to watch it here in Germany.

3. Aerie Pocket Legging- Ladies, you need these leggings. They're the most comfy leggings ever! They're extremely soft on the inside and the outside looks like joggers/leggings combined. Anytime I am just chillin' at home I love to take a quick body shower, put on my lotion and then put these leggings on. PS. they're currently 40% off right now.

4. BECCA Backlight Primer- This is currently my favorite primer! I apply it after moisturizing and before starting my makeup. It adds the perfect amount of glow underneath my makeup and is great for summer. On days I don't feel like wearing makeup, I'll still rub this into my face to even my skin tone.

5. Illinois Coffee Mug- I found this mug while I was at Target this summer. I have been using it everyday since. It is so cute and a little reminder of home. Not to mention it's under $6! I also have my eye on this cute Illinois mug too.

6. Baked Cheetos- I have never been a fan of regular Cheetos but I've always loved Hot Cheetos. I have tried really hard to be more conscious about what I am eating so therefore limit myself from certain chips. I picked these up from Target and OMG I love! Regulars Cheetos are just too much for me but these are the perfect snack. I also really like the baked White Cheddar flavor.
